EWB-RPI is currently involved in three different projects. The Panama project has been working with a community on the gulf of Panama, Isla Popa II, since November 2010 to assist in improving the water quality in the area and providing solar energy to a local school. Beginning just this past semester, the Uganda Project is working with the Buwooya, a village in the Bugweri district, to install an irrigation system to be used for farming during droughts by students of the Buyanga Primary School. Finally, our local project group works with a nearby non-profit organization to collect and supply rainwater to a nearby community garden.
